I am a graduate of the University of North Texas at Dallas. I majored in Education and received my bachelor's in Early Childhood through Elementary, with my emphasis in Bilingual Education. My plan is to work on my master's and to one day attend Texas Women's University. I am employed as a math teacher at a Dallas Independent School District. I have always enjoyed working with children. I strive to make my classes not only challenging, but also interesting so that they love to come to my class. I believe in my students, and I know they can achieve their goals. I tend to be a hands-on teacher, and I try to use manipulatives when possible. I understand that students all have their own unique style of learning. I base my lessons on my students' style whether it is visual, kinesthetic, or auditory. I can tutor all subjects (English, Math, L.A., Social Studies, Science, Writing, and Reading) because I truly do love them all. In my free time, I like to play sports, ride a bike, and swim. I enjoy relaxing with a book, scrapbooking, playing board games, and watching movies.
